PGM Indoor Golf Calgary has two rate changes close together. New rates took effect on October 1, 2026, and winter rates begin on November 1, 2026. This page sets out both, so you can see what a booking costs on the date you actually plan to play.
If you are new to how simulator pricing works, the short version is that you pay for the bay, not the person. Our guide to what indoor golf costs in Calgary covers the basics in more depth.
What changed on October 1
Rates are charged per bay, per hour, and shared by everyone in the bay, plus GST. Before October 1, 2026 the three rates were $16, $20 and $25 an hour. Since October 1 they are $18, $30 and $35 an hour.
Bookings come in 30-minute blocks with a 30-minute minimum, and you can extend on the day if nobody has booked the bay after you. The bay rate includes more than 200 virtual courses, a virtual driving range and Swing Cam.
Indoor golf prices in Calgary by time band
There are three time bands. The winter rates from November 1 use the same three bands, so the only thing that moves is the price.
- Early mornings and late nights. Before 9 AM Sunday to Thursday, before 10 AM Friday and Saturday, and from 11 PM Sunday to Thursday. $18 an hour in October, $20 an hour from November 1.
- Regular hours. 9 AM to 11 PM Sunday to Thursday, and 10 AM to 6 PM Friday. $30 an hour in October, $40 an hour from November 1.
- Friday night and Saturday. Friday from 6 PM and Saturday from 10 AM, both until midnight. $35 an hour in October, $45 an hour from November 1.
Winter rates from November 1
From November 1, 2026 the three bands are $20, $40 and $45 an hour, plus GST, still per bay and shared by the group. No end date has been announced for the winter rates, so check the rates page for the current schedule before you book.
What a typical booking costs
The suggested booking length is 1 to 1.5 hours per player, warm-up included. Two players want 2 to 3 hours of bay time, and four players want 4 to 6. If you are trying to fit a full round into that, our post on how long a round of golf takes is worth a read first. All figures below are before GST.
In October
- Two players, 2 to 3 hours: $36 to $54 early or late, $60 to $90 in regular hours, $70 to $105 on Friday night or Saturday.
- Four players, 4 to 6 hours: $72 to $108 early or late, $120 to $180 in regular hours, $140 to $210 on Friday night or Saturday.
From November 1
- Two players, 2 to 3 hours: $40 to $60 early or late, $80 to $120 in regular hours, $90 to $135 on Friday night or Saturday.
- Four players, 4 to 6 hours: $80 to $120 early or late, $160 to $240 in regular hours, $180 to $270 on Friday night or Saturday.
Split four ways, a winter booking in regular hours works out to $40 to $60 each. The same four players starting at 11 PM on a Sunday to Thursday night pay $20 to $30 each.
The cheapest ways to play
The early and late band is $12 an hour below regular hours in October, and $20 below from November 1. Start time is the biggest lever on what you pay.
- Play early. Before 9 AM Sunday to Thursday, or before 10 AM on Friday and Saturday, is the lowest rate on the board.
- Play late. From 11 PM Sunday to Thursday is the same low rate. The bays are open 24 hours a day, so a midnight start is a normal booking.
- Split the bay. The rate covers the bay whoever is in it. Two people pay half each, four pay a quarter each.
- Book only what you need. Blocks are 30 minutes, so a solo player can book a short session rather than a full hour.
- Look at Night Owl if you play often at those hours. It is $129 a month plus GST for unlimited bookings from 11 PM to 10 AM Sunday to Thursday, and from midnight to 10 AM on Friday and Saturday nights.
The Night Owl break-even is simple arithmetic. At $18 an hour, $129 buys about 7 hours, so at about 7 hours a month inside the Night Owl window the plan has paid for itself. At the $20 winter rate the same point arrives at about 6.5 hours a month.
Membership prices
All three plans are priced per month plus GST, and all include members-only events and special offers.
- Night Owl, $129. Unlimited bookings in the late night and early morning window above.
- Standard, $249. A $200 booking credit each month plus 15% off all bookings.
- Ultimate, $349. A $280 credit plus 20% off, and Night Owl is included, so the same unlimited Night Owl hours too.
The membership page has the full terms.
Planning a booking this fall
Pick your date first, since that tells you which set of rates applies, then pick the start time, since that sets the band. If you are planning around the colder weeks, our guide to things to do in Calgary in November has ideas for the rest of the month.
When you have a time, choose it on the Calgary booking page and bring your own clubs, since PGM does not provide them. Questions go to the FAQ, or call 403-680-3380 and a real person will answer.
